She got through it and returned to the bedbug infested apartment where she rents a room. She is HIV positive for nearly 20 years--a former IV-user (heroin/cocaine). I really care about this woman. She is 45 and takes the cocktail/combo. She doesn't use anymore, at least I doubt it. She's on a methadone program and takes a Xanax or one of the other benzo's when she's feeling overwhelmed. She has a fabulous daughter who has been through the mill being the daughter of two junkies. The daughter is presently pursuing a degree in nursing. The dad (he died a while back)-- HIS father was a junkie--sad situation. My friend is feeling exhausted for about five days now--after returning from a 3 day trip to her sister's for Thanksgiving. She told me (via telephone) that she's going to the emergency room tomorrow to see if the MRSA pneumonia is the reason for her current exhaustion. Is this all a theory?
